“Social media management began with my love for capturing the moment. ”
My passion for social media management started with capturing life’s moments. What began as a YouTube channel I created with my cousin grew into a love for content creation. I honed these skills in high school clubs like creative writing and yearbook. In college, I filmed my life at Dillard University, and to my surprise, my content went viral—gaining over 2,000 views and helping future students decide to attend. My TikTok following grew to 3,000, inspiring me to work with authors on their social media presence.
While I may be naturally shy, I’m known for my big personality, quick thinking, and ability to adapt. I believe in lifelong learning, as my parents—who have been married for 25 years—taught me to always strive for more. At 25, I’m a dedicated reader, on a mission to build my personal library of 1,000 books (currently at 656). I also love visiting the zoo—I've been at least six times! My background, creativity, and analytical skills make me a unique asset, and I’m always ready to tackle new challenges and grow.

News Station Project
I conducted a research project on how traditional media, especially news stations, engage younger audiences through social media. During an experiment with a news anchor, their account gained over 600 followers in one week. My findings reveal that while stations like KTVE/KARD are active on social media, their anchors are not fully utilizing these platforms. I hope my recommendations will help improve their social media marketing strategies.
